LOFTS ON THE TRAFALGAR STREET
We have subdivided the building into two large packages. One of them formed by all the free space of ground floor and all the first plant that has vertical interior communications autonomous and is what occupies the Renault´s design center. The other package is formed by the three upper floors. These have been subdivided into small units of less than one hundred square meters, have a closed bathroom, and the rest have no partition walls and form a single loft space. The open gallery that gives access to each one of these units and that has been designed with an industrial language, ventilates and takes the natural light of two interior patios with the neighboring properties. In the long facade of Trafalgar Street, we have peeled the plasters of the oldest parts to leave the brick factory walls clean. While the rest has been revoked again and painted with a cold color to reinforce the industrial character that we wanted to recover the whole building.
